GOGGIN, Florence - Putnam

Miss Florence I. Goggin of Arcola died suddenly about noon today in Memorial Hospital following a heart attack. She had been in the hospital since last Thursday for gall bladder trouble. The body has been taken to the McCann Funeral parlor sin Arcola. Funeral arrangements have not been completed, pending word from out of town relatives.  Miss Goggin was born July 10, 1882 near Greencastle, Ind, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Goggin. She moved to Arcola a number of years ago. Patrick Goggin of Arcola is a brother. She also leaves three sisters: Mrs. Thomas McNally of El Paso, Tex; Sister angelica of near Chicago and Miss Kate Goggin of Arcola. Until she became ill several months ago she was employed as a stenographer for Charles O’Dell, Arcola contractor. She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church of Arcola and belonged to the Fidelity and Altar Societies. - kbz
